Considering that 50,000 mile cars are bringing 34/35 I don't think that a car as clean as this and with such low miles is too high at that number. This car is like new and spotless. @croc There is that, and also boring the service window out to allow the bearing to be removed. Neither is recommended as they can leave debris behind. Best thing to do is remove the "grease ring" and allow engine oil to cool the bearing, and add a magnetic drain plug to watch for shavings. But as you said, failure rate on these is very very low. The most important thing is regular oil changes with good oil to stave off any bore scoring issues.

@EQM Not that were aware of.
@EQM The IMS bearing failures are very rare on this car and usually require an engine case split to replace though I have heard that there is a tool that will cut out the old bearing without dismantling the motor.
Ok, speaking of tires, exactly which model Michelin did the previous owner mount on the car? Do you have both keys? Would it be possible to have one of the local Porsche dealers do a PPI (my expense)?
Has the IMS bearing issue been taken care of on this vehicle?
@croc Hello. Hope you are doing well today. The Carfax only shows a recent oil change. I know the tires were replaced recently as well, So the owner did take the time to keep the car up to date. It really is an incredible car. Nicest of its kind I've seen. We do not have a DME report for the car.

Nicely equipped 987. Too bad carfax doesn't show any detail on the service history. Do you have a DME printout with the Over Rev report?
Hello. Any scuffs or chips on either door edge (pix available)? Any small dings or anything cosmetic with the paint to note? The front end appears to have some PPF. Can you confirm if full hood is covered and is blemish free? Please upload pix of the undercarriage. Thanks
