Developed by DaimlerChrysler, the third-generation Wrangler JK model introduced a completely redesigned body, frame, and suspension. Succeeding the TJ model, the JK introduced a longer wheelbase, wider stance, larger headlights, and expanded fenders and wheel arches to accommodate larger tires. Finished in Black, this 4-door example has been customized with an off-road theme, featuring a 4” Ready Lift suspension lift, SmittyBilt SRC bumpers, rock rails, side steps, and Rugged Ridge 17” Black Satin alloy wheels fitted with 37” Toyo M/T tires, including a matching spare. Additional equipment includes front fog lamps, halogen headlamps, and door-mounted manually folding mirrors. The cabin features black upholstery, including low-back front bucket seats and a 60/40 folding rear seat, all separated by an overhead roll bar fully padded for safety. Amenities include power windows, remote door locks, and air conditioning. The seller has added a Pioneer head unit with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and HD XM radio, complemented by Alpine speakers powered by an Alpine PDX amplifier. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Power is provided by a 3.6-liter V6 engine, sending as much as 285 HP and 260 lb.-ft of torque to the rear or all four wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission. Performance has been modified with an adjustable track bar and Bilstein steering stabilizer, while standard equipment includes an off-road-tuned anti-lock braking system and traction control system with an electronic limited-slip differential. @Nysammie Hello … I was rear ended at a red light by a VW Passat going less than 5mph, I was at a complete stop, other driver admitted to looking at phone and taking foot off brake , zero damage to the jeep do to ride height, as the VW hit the oversized spare and damaged the top of its own front hood …
