The R230 generation Mercedes-Benz SL-Class roadster underwent a facelift with more aggressive styling for the 2008 model year including a new 6.2-liter V8 engine and 7-speed MCT transmission for the high-performance SL63 AMG version. This 2009 example is finished in Palladium Silver Metallic over Red leather upholstery, featuring the optional Premium I Package, AMG Performance Package (P30), and Parktronic parking assist. It was purchased by the seller from its long-term second owner in 2022 and is now being offered for auction out of Florida with approximately 18k miles showing on the odometer.

Finished in Palladium Silver Metallic (792) this SL63 features the optional P30 AMG Performance Package which adds an F1 Safety Car-style front fascia with air extractors and 19” AMG twin five-spoke forged lightweight aluminum wheels. Other equipment includes an AMG-specific rear diffuser and side skirts, power-retractable hardtop, bi-xenon headlamps, fog lights, LED taillights, fender vents, polished quad exhaust tips, silver AMG-branded brake calipers, and a power-closing trunk lid. The front bumper was previously refinished and new Pirelli P-Zero tires were mounted in 2022 within the last 2k miles. The seller describes the exterior as in excellent condition apart from some imperfections on the front end. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin features Red leather (217) upholstery with carbon fiber trim, black carpets, and contrasting leather on the dashboard, center console, and upper door panels. Accessories include heated and ventilated multicontour power seats with Airscarf neck warmers, aluminum AMG-branded door sills, an AMG instrument cluster, AMG floor mats, Keyless-Go entry, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Harman-Kardon sound system, a multifunction driver display, and a COMAND infotainment system. An AMG Performance steering wheel is also included in the optional Performance Package. The driver seat was reupholstered under the seller’s ownership.

Engraved with the signature of its builder at AMG, the hand-assembled 6.2-liter M156 V8 engine delivers up to 518 HP and 465 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission. The optional AMG Performance Package includes a raised 186-MPH top-speed governor, a limited-slip differential, an AMG compound braking system with larger front rotors, and an AMG track-calibrated Active Body Control (ABC) suspension. The seller indicates the fuel injectors were cleaned under their ownership along with replacements of the spark plugs, fuel filter, and battery. The cooling and brake systems were also flushed and refilled with new fluids.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, service records, a window sticker, a toolkit, an air pump, a spare tire, and a clean title.
