Unveiled in 1999, the Porsche's 996 generation marked a significant evolution by adopting a water-cooled flat-six engine. This inaugural-year Carrera Coupe comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over grey full leather upholstery and features a 6-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, traction control, anti-slip regulation, an automatic braking differential, power seats, and more. Modified with an Aerokit, this example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Mexico with just under 52k miles showing on the odometer.

This 996 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and rides on aftermarket wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires with 43/2017 date codes. A more aggressive stance has been achieved with the fitment of an Aerokit front bumper, rocker panels, and rear wing. Factory equipment includes dual exhaust outlets, an electric sunroof, front fog lights, and Porsche-branded brake calipers. The seller notes a small gap between the side skirts and the body panels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting damage to the left side in May 2002.

Inside, this Carrera features grey full leather upholstery spanning the seats, door panels, and dashboard. Optional equipment includes 8-way power-adjustable seats including memory functions for the driver. The car also comes equipped with an onboard computer, a sound system, a central locking system, automatic climate control, and an electric sunroof. The seller reports the interior remains in good condition and notes a strong scent of eucalyptus is present. All gauges and electronics are said to be working properly.

A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission while stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes and cross-drilled rotors at each corner. Optional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, traction control, Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR), and an Automatic Braking Differential (ABD). The CARFAX report shows a total of 15 service history records.

@IslaTurbine You are correct some bits are missing. REar shocks should be updated handling is affected.

@MJTJT the smell was sprayed in the car to ward off critters. 19s were installed sometime ago and don't know why. Head unit was installed probably because the previous owner thought it was a good idea. You know how that goes. The title is in current owners name. Records are in a folder and will go with the car.

    Option sticker post coming soon.

In reference to the Aerokit pieces, the taco wing is missing the Gurney spoiler and the engine lid is missing the accordion tube that completes the transition from the lid to the engine air intake snorkel. The front clip is also missing the lower clip-on plastic spoiler, which is now stupidly expensive from Porsche.

Love the full leather Space Grey interior.

Interesting that the front struts are newer than the rear shocks. Not sure what impact that could have on the handling.

Seller you should upload a pic of the options tag from the underside of the frunk lid, if it’s still present.

Nice clean slate to bring it back to original. I can understand the aftermarket aero kit because it’s a nice look. Why the 19”s? Head unit? No service records, besides car fax,,,,eucalyptus sent is so strong that it needs to be mentioned in description? What did it smell like before? 5 previous owners and the seller, I’m guessing has the title in the last owners name, not 1 documented anything? Car fax win,,,,Like I said it appears to be a good example. Seller, maybe post up a picture of the options code sticker, prove it’s a factory 220 222 224. Good luck. See you in the Deal Tank.
