Initially offered by Porsche as a special order (Sonderwunsch) conversion and later as an Exclusive factory option, the Slant Nose package adds distinctive 935-inspired bodywork to the 911 Turbo (930). This 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe is one of 278 Slant Nose versions produced for the U.S. during the model year and comes finished in Guards Red over Champagne leather. Cared for by two owners in Florida before the seller’s purchase in 2021, this rare 930 Slant Nose is now being offered for auction out of New York with approximately 40k miles showing on the odometer.
The Slant Nose package was offered in the U.S. under option code M505 and includes flat louvered fenders with pop-up headlamps, boxed rocker panels, and straked side air intakes. This example is finished in Guards Red (L80K) and rides on aftermarket 15" BBS three-piece wheels with gold basketweave spokes and polished outer lips. The Pirelli Cinturato tires measure 285/40 in the rear and 225/50 in front. Other equipment includes a black front chin spoiler, integrated fog lights, headlamp washers, a rear window wiper, a dual-tipped exhaust outlet, an electric sunroof, and a “Tea Tray” rear spoiler. The seller notes the car has undergone extensive professional detailing and remains in very good condition apart from a small scratch on the front bumper and a crack on a driver’s side louver. The seller adds that the pop-up headlamp function is currently inoperable. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Champagne and Black partial leather (PE) interior features contrasting black carpet floor mats with red Porsche logos, power-adjustable front seats, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, and an aftermarket black leather MOMO shift knob. Other accessories include power windows and mirrors, a central locking system, air conditioning, cruise control, a VDO quartz clock, a rear window defroster, and an aftermarket Sony stereo. The seller notes signs of wear on the driver’s seat and the passenger seatbelt needs to be repaired.
A turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 282 HP and 289 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The CARFAX report shows a fuel pump was replaced in 2021 and invoices provided by the seller include new A/C and alternator belts in 2023, and a new warmup regulator and clutch kit in May 2024.
This sale will include a spare tire, a battery charger, a new repair manual, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The car runs well and the turbo kicks in when it hits 3200 RPMs. Currently, the passenger seatbelt needs repair, and the headlights work but don’t come up. If I can’t get to the repairs on these items, I will reimburse the buyer within reason.”

@Jtg356 replaced 345 rears with 285/40. Fronts were also oversized. Replaced with 245/50
Yes was definitely rubbing. No longer rubbing
@ftsuru underside will be photographed in short order
The drivers side
Seat being worn was answered in a question from another bidder.
Hope this helps
@seller, as was asked earlier, can you please post pictures of underside. In a service ticket, it said that the rear tire is too wide and is rubbing against the main oil line. What was done to fix that issue? What are the wheel measurements? The driver's side left hand bolster sure seems excessively worn. Is this a replacement seat? With the low mileage, there is no way that seat should be that worn. What is the status of the headlights? You say the "headlamps will not come up". Is that for both lights? I also have no idea how the passenger seat belt could need replacement. Again, with such low miles, it is hard to understand how that could have happened. Any commentary would be appreciated.

Can you post some pics of the underside of the car? Any other service history? Thanks

Carfax is in the listing
I think the owner before me was disabled and had a tough time getting in and out I believe
Please Let me know if the link works.
Picture 74 shows a missing seal on the shock absorber. Why is it missing and can you please show the other side as well?
Is the original paint still on the vehicle or have areas been repainted? Please adjust the paint measurements. Is everything else on the vehicle working properly, such as the air conditioning, sunroof, fans, sensors, etc.? Are there any known defects on the vehicle?
500 / 5.000
You mentioned the Carfax report. But I can't find it in your documents. Please post it. Compared to many other 930 Porsches with 44k mileage, the driver's seat is very worn, so I doubt whether the stated mileage can be correct? Therefore, use the Carfax to prove the mileage. Photos of the undercarriage, engine number and transmission number would also be important. Why is the left headlight cover crooked? Has the car been in an accident?
@Autotrend I do not have any other wheels for this vehicle
Thx again
Pcar market puts that info into the listing as part of their service. I didn’t detail.
Just measured the wheel and you are correct. Thank you for bringing that up!
the script is wrong. these are 15 inch not 16 inch wheels as came from the factory. do you have the original correct wheels for the car?
