Marking the inaugural year of the desirable 5-speed G50 manual transmission, this 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe was originally ordered through Porsche’s Tourist Delivery Program for pickup at the factory in Stuttgart. It comes finished in Guards Red over a Black interior and is equipped with optional front and rear spoilers, an electric sunroof, 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels, cruise control, air conditioning, and more. The car underwent extensive service in 2023 and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida with approximately 49k miles showing on the odometer.
This 911 is finished in Guards Red (L80K) with an optional front and rear spoiler, integrated front fog lights, an electric sunroof, and 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels. The car rides on Bridgestone Potenza RE760 tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The Black partial leather interior includes a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, carpet floor mats, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, a quartz clock, and a Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46 cassette stereo.
An air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 217 HP and 195 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. Service completed since August 2023 includes replacements of the valve cover gaskets, exhaust cover gaskets, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs, ignition wires, and brake fluid.
This sale will include an owner’s manual, some service records, and a clean title.

Is the drivers door a different (darker) shade of red? Can't tell from the pics but it looks like it a little.
@Jack19807 if you notice at 1 42 min of the video, it stopped making noise when I put my hand on the seat and moved the items I had on the seat the making noise on the floor .
What is that constant clicking noise in the drive video?

@Dwhite Thanking for sharing and Advicing me. .To me, the paint appears original, but I am not an expert, and I understand now . Maybe it had a resprayed in some panels or just one in the past . It is by the way 37 year old classic Air Cool Porsche, and there aren't many around in the condition this one is in . But what I do know is that it's super clean inside and out, and it's well taken care with only 48k miles .
@jbenx05 I would suggest you look at pcar markets youtube videos and more exactly Nathan Merz doing a deep dive into 3.2 Carreras. He shows what factory original paint meter reading are. This caris not that. Look my car is an 87 and it has similar paint meter reading, but it not original. Does not mean accidents, means it's had paint work and most have. Very rare to find all original paint cars.

@TXGerman good catch on the misplaced rubber. Wheels in the right spot but wrong rubber mounted on RF/LR. Would have thought the seller’s inspection post acquisition would have found this.
A beauty of a steed with curious paint thickness deltas. Would also be curious if the undercoat texture is present on all 4 fenderlips.

@tff The car has never been repainted. The paint is all original.
FWIW, your wheels are installed in the wrong places....one front is installed in the drivers rear and one rear is installed in the passenger front....probably should fix that.
Beautiful car. Can the seller comment on the paint originality? Some of the panels show thicker paint (up to 10 mils)... is one to interpret those as being repainted? And if so, are those also single stage, with a good match to the other panels?
