Produced from 1970 to 1971, the C-Series Porsche 911 featured a longer wheelbase than its predecessor as well as a larger 2.2-liter engine. This 1971 example is a 911T Coupe that has been refinished in its factory-specified Conda Green color over Black leatherette upholstery and includes factory-optional Comfort Equipment and light metal wheels. This numbers-matching 911T is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and a host of documentation.

Produced with bodywork by Karmann, this 911T Coupe has been refinished in its original shade of Conda Green (26), a striking nonmetallic color offered exclusively from 1970 to 1972. Optional features include 14” slotted light metal wheels and the Comfort Equipment package which adds gold-anodized badging, aluminum rocker panel covers, and 911S-type rubber moldings. Additional details include tinted glass, dual side mirrors, front fog lights, black-finished horn grilles, a vented hood, chrome trim, and a single polished exhaust outlet. Additional images are provided in the gallery.

Inside, the driver is surrounded by Black leatherette (11) upholstery spanning the seats, dashboard, and door panels. A matching carpet lines the floor, and a contrasting beige headliner completes the surroundings. Equipment includes roll-up windows, VDO instrumentation, a four-spoke steering wheel, and a locking glovebox. The optional Comfort Package also adds 911S-type instrument gauges, velour carpeting, and aluminum door sills. The seller adds that the original Blaupunkt AM radio remains fitted and confirms all gauges and accessories to be in working order.

This 911T is powered by an air-cooled 2.2-liter flat-six engine producing up to 125 HP, delivered to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual 901 transmission. The seller states that the engine and transmission are numbers-matching per the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, which lists engine #6116622 and transmission #116709. Images of the case stampings are available in the gallery.

This sale will include a clean title, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, additional documentation, a toolkit, and a trunk-mounted spare tire.

The seller would like you to know: “You will surely look long and hard to find a finer example of this exceptionally clean and increasingly collectible 1971 Porsche 911T matching #'s 2.2L Karmann Coupe in this most striking of color combinations available anywhere else! Please note that the car will be sold with its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity documenting the cars supreme originality!”

@DavidPCA1974 We do not have any records showing an engine or trans rebuild; in any case compression is excellent on all cylinders, runs like a sewing machine, drives wonderfully.
    Thanks for your interest

@edgy4sure This is how we acquired the car, we are not sure if the fog lights are original to the car; would presume so.

Is there any rust? Also, is there any history of engine or transmission rebuild? Nice example.
    Thanks

are the fog lights original, or after market? can you elaborate on the 911S-type rubber moldings?

Hi selling dealer, I saw this car on your website a few weeks ago and I thought it read It was a 4-speed? Over here it says 5 speed? If I am wrong, I apologize in advance. There is obviously a significant money difference between an 4 and 5 speed. Again, if I misread it, please excuse me.

Once engine is running and car is driving the music should cease and you can hear the Engine purr like a sewing machine!
    Thanks for the interest

This room prefers to hear the engine music over actual music in your YouTube. Pretty green!
