This desirable third-generation Chevrolet Corvette (C3) Convertible is powered by a replacement 502ci V8 engine and 4-barrel carburetor paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. It has undergone a frame-off restoration incorporating a refinish in black over a tan leather interior. Other features include a tan soft top, power rack and pinion steering, pop-up headlights, and air conditioning, along with upgrades such as 18” Foose Billet wheels, Hooker headers, carbon fiber suspension springs, Brembo brakes, an aftermarket stereo system, and more. This extensively restored and modified C3 Convertible is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.

Compared to its predecessor, the C3 showcases a new design with a longer, lower, and wider stance, featuring pop-up headlights, sculpted fender flares, a sharply pointed front end, and chrome bumpers. This example underwent a frame-off restoration and is refinished in black with a tan convertible soft top and showcases a Monza tilt front end, a new hood, side louvers, fender vents, a manually foldable tan soft-top, “Stingray” badging, and dual exhaust outlets. It rides on chrome-finished 18” Foose Billet wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires. The seller notes several hardly noticeable paint bubbles, and detailed images are provided in the gallery.

As part of its restoration, the cabin was outfitted with replacement seats upholstered in tan leather and new color-coordinated carpets, door panels, a console, and a dashboard. Additional features include a mahogany wood-rimmed steering wheel, lap belts, air conditioning, roll-up windows, and an aftermarket 300-watt stereo system. The center stack displays an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The seller notes that while the voltmeter is intermittently inoperable, all other gauges and electronics function properly.

Power comes from a 502ci V8 ZZ502 crate engine with a 4-barrel carburetor and delivers to the rear wheels through a Richmond 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Performance enhancements include a Holley EFI fuel injection system, a high-performance 1.8 camshaft, aluminum drive shafts, Hooker headers, a Ram Air intake, and a 3” stainless steel exhaust system. It also features a power rack and pinion steering, and the suspension has been upgraded with carbon fiber springs and adjustable gas shocks.

This sale will include the owner’s manuals and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “I bought this car in 2018 with 1800 miles shown on the new speedometer. It now has 2275 miles. I took it to my first car show in May and won! This car is rated with a 620 HP engine. It’s fast.”
