Produced from 1996 to 2010, the Saleen S281 is a modified version of the Ford Mustang that features a body kit, Racecraft suspension, 20” Saleen wheels, unique front seats, and Saleen-branded accessories. This 2007 example is reportedly #318 built for the model year, is finished in Torch Red over a Dark Charcoal leather interior, and is powered by a 4.6-liter V8. This Saleen is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California showing approximately 10k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Torch Red (D3) with silver side graphics, this S281 is equipped with a Saleen body kit with model-specific bumpers, side skirts, and door cladding. Other equipment includes integrated fog lights, a Saleen rear spoiler, quarter window inserts, dual center-exit exhaust outlets, and Saleen badging. A “318” decal sits just in front of the driver’s side headlight, reportedly identifying the car as the 318th built for the model year. This S281 rides on chrome-finished 20” seven-spoke wheels wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the cabin of this S281 is upholstered in Dark Charcoal leather and features front sport bucket seats with louvered headrests and individual rear seats, with Saleen logos embroidered on all seats. Other Saleen-branded details include door sill plates, floor mats, aluminum pedal covers, a badgeadorning the leather-wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel, a 200-MPH speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, additional gauges, and a serialized dashboard plaque. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, and a six-disc CD stereo connected to a Shaker 500 audio system.
Powered by a 4.6-liter modular V8, the S281 sends up to 335 HP and 345 lb.-ft. of torque to its rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual. The engine was built by Saleen using a forged steel crankshaft and connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons, ported aluminum heads, a dual-core radiator, a lightweight aluminum flywheel, and a 2.5” exhaust system. The seller reports that the car is equipped with a PowerFlash performance ECU calibration. Additional equipment includes a Racecraftsuspension, front and rear sway bars, and braking power comes from four-wheel discs.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals and a clean title.

Why was the left airbag assembly replaced twice?
We are very confused about the last comment made by Fearless. We had no "winning bid" on BAT for the highest bid did not meet our reserve. Also we don't see him as a bidder on BAT.
We have great confidence in PCarmarket conducting our auction.
Good luck to all bidders.
I tried to buy this car one BAT. Winning bid. Seller killed the deal and bad mouthed me to BAT causing BAT to no longer allow be to use their service. Very Poor experience ....
@seller are you going to be more engaging with this auction then you were on BAT?
